"Uhuh..." Knore tried to stand, wincing, but pushing through.

She grabbed his hand, and helped pull him up. "We should go soon." Heidi said, dropping her hand.

Arasinya nodded. "Three guides will take you to the forest edge, but from there, you are on your own. I cannot remain controlling my daughter passed that point, but she knows the way. You will find that there is no need to explain to her what I have said to you. She knows. Goodbye and good luck." Arasinya stumbled forward for a moment, then straightened and smiled. "Goodbye mum."
Another elf, Epheme, walked up leading three horses. One was Setho. Arasinya smiled at the other two horses. "I promise these are the most well trained horses I know. Do you two wants saddles?"

Knore nodded, then blinked. "They're dragons, aren't they?"

Arasinya chuckled. "No. Horses. I have a dragon, and if needed we'll use him." She nodded to Epheme and he put the saddles tightly on the horses.

Heidi let out a breath that she didn't know that she was holding. The gypsy hadn't fancied flying in the short time she experienced it. Once the horses were saddled, she quickly grabbed the stirrup and pulled herself up, sitting comfortably. Heidi's hair was still up in a falling bun, and from above her collar the brand curled up the back of Heidi's neck.

"Poor girl." Arasinya thought. She got on Setho bareback. "I need to teach you the signals. They don't respond to english. Only elvish. To get them to run you say Noro lim, Bakai!" She shouted so the horses wouldn't move. "Bakai is stop."

Knore struggled to get up, moaning. "My stomach..." he whined. "How deep can an iron sword go on a human?" he murmured. "It barely went through my skin when I was....immortal..."

"It can go through all the way." Arasinya replied calmly.

Heidi nodded. "Any others? Or will reins tell the rest?" She gave Knore a sideways glance, letting him complain. It seemed to be his way of reliving the stress of the sudden change, to a human's fragile life.

"No. That's it. My bag and your saddles have food prepared by my grandfather. One bite is enough to fill the stomach of a grown man." Arasinya said. The elves gathered around them. Her grandfather held up his right hand. "Halikara!" He was giving a blessing. The other elves put their right hands up as well. "Noro lim!" He shouted. The horses took off.

Heidi had been on a horse for most of her life. After all, it was how she traveled from city to city. And so, Heidi comfortably sat in the saddle, heading along as if this was just another day.

Knore sat on the saddle, looking back. He called back to the elves. "Iko vondero ubasika reminadis lole!" in his human form, he had started to lose knowledge of everything.

The elves looked at each other questionably. "Maybe he's a tall hobbit?" One suggested.

Heidi slowed down a little when Knore wasn't riding beside them, and looked back over her shoulder. For such a small, sweet girl, the glare that she gave the elves was downright uncharacteristic in it's silent danger, as if daring them to say another word. Then she smiled again and cocked her head towards the road, urging Knore forward.

"They weren't able to find us guides, but I think I know the forest well enough." Arasinya thought out loud. "We'll be passing through eastern territory. I'm not worried though. Most are edging their way into the center of the west. What I'm worried more about is creatures when night falls. Tonight, the moon is new. That is more dangerous then the full in these parts. Vampires come at their strongest, werewolves at their weakest. Everything else in between. Keep an eye out." She turned to Heidi. "Do you have a weapon?"

Heidi put a hand on her shoulder, wondering if a weapon would have made a difference. "No."
