"I'm not sure you know exactly who I am." Arasinya stepped up closer. "I am Arasinya. Daughter of Aseiko and Melda. I am royalty, and you will let me in, otherwise, my father will quit supporting your army." She replaced the veil. "Make your choice."

The guard scowled. "...Fine. but leave quickly this is a war camp, and we don't need civilians roaming about." He stepped aside.

"I am no civilian!" Arasinya pushed passed him. Setho trotted behind her. Both made their way to the stables. "Hello?" She called in the stable.

The guard rolled his eyes before stalking away, continuing his patrol.
Heidi managed to lift her head. "Over here.." she rasped.

Arasinya looked at her and rushed over. She took out her knife and cut the rope. "I have water from the ocean elves. It will cool the wounds, but they will leave a scar." She took out a small vial. "This will hurt worse then the branding you got at first, but then, you will not feel a thing." She handed Heidi a clean cloth. "Bite on this." She put a single drop of the ocean water on the top of the branding wound.

Heidi screamed, the sound muffled by the cloth. For a few agonizing seconds, the pain of the branding camee back, heating all over her body, and she briefly thought that Arasinya had lit her on fire. But just as quickly as it came, the sensation ended. I have to do that three more times?!

Arasinya said nothing as she put another drop on her ankle, then her shoulders. She wrapped her arms around her and held her tight to comfort her through the short amount of pain.

The young elf filled it with a wave of his hand. "Here." He gave it to Knore.

Knore drank it down again, begging for relief. The water was soothing. After that he took deep breaths through his nose to submerge the pain that came when the water slid down his throat.

Arasinya's grandfather took his hand. "Listen to me, young man. My granddaughter is going to take you somewhere safe. The one who has done this, will do it no more to you. Do you understand me?"

Knore slowly shook his head. He knew Alkahishe would do anything to see him like this. He teared up again, trying to blink the tears away.

"Arasinya will protect you with her life. She will help you learn to become mortal, for she is one of the few elves who are. When she returns, you will be in her hands,"

Knore got a bit dizzy again, and looked into the old man's eyes. "Do not d-decieve me...I-I...I am Knore."

Heidi's breathing was ragged after the torture. It took a few minutes for the tears to finally die out for good, and once the gypsy had wiped the last bit from her eyes she said "B-but... how can I get o-out? They won't just let me prance out o-of here."

The forest elves drew away, except for the grandfather. "Deceive you? No sir. I understand that you are Knore, but you are mortal now and need teachings. Arasinya is a wonderful teacher. Now drink." He ordered.

Jasper shifted, sitting with his legs indian-style. "So, what brung you over here, anyways? Even mortals would know that it's not a brilliant idea to stumble into a war zone."

Knore drank more, like a small child from a bottle he was hungry and thirsty and weak. He didn't understand why. He had a hard time thinking humans could live this way.

Arasinya grinned. "Just trust me." She whispered to Setho, who nodded and ran out of the stables. "I'm not sure if you've heard the legend of the dragon necklace?" She smiled.

Heidi stumbled to stand, and gave Arasinya a confused look. She had, of course, heard many legends in her time. The one she spoke of came up blank, though.

"No? Good it doesn't exist." Arasinya pet the end of her necklace, and Eferno came out, roaring. Arasinya helped Heidi get onto Eferno, then got on herself. "Fly Eferno." He streched out his wings, and took off, going through the roof of the stable.
