Judith opened her eyes. "D-dustin." She muttered. Everything was a blur. She had no idea where she was.

Arasinya put her hands up as well. "Thank you so much. My father didn't do this when she passed." She smiled sadly again.

"Your father is among the corrupted." Kodai answered sweetly. "Though that will change as judgement passes."

"I'm not so sure about that." Arasinya looked down, then gasped and looked up. "Is Grandfather here?" She asked, hopefully.

Jasper raised his hands but didn't look at anyone.
Heidi tried to back away, but the two guards grabbed her arms again. "Please, you're mistaken! I-I'm an Easterner. I swear! I lived in Wica for most of my life. I was just traveling and didn't realize I crossed the border. Please let me go." Her pleas were probably for nothing- and even were at the risk of annoying him more. Wica was the Eastern capital, and was known by most Westerners. Heidi's alibi, although true, sounded exactly like a made up story. However she couldn't stop herself from blurting it out.

"You look like you came straight from Gaile." Philip snapped. "Now, if you are a true Easterner, what is the abundant source of metal we have there?"

Panic left her mind blank for a few seconds. Heidi wasn't much of a talker at inns, and sometimes forgot the little things about even her own country. "Iron!" She said as soon as she remember. "I-it's Iron."

"You didn't sound sure." Philip rolled his eyes. "Who do we most abundantly praise to?"

Knore let out a small whimper and opened his eyes. He still felt like h*ll, but he felt more numbess. His vision blurry for a moment, he moaned and tried to focus it.

Heidi's eyes widened. She hadn't been raised to believe any certain deiti, except to respect any god that might come down and smite you. "I-I..." she stammered, trying to come up with something. Phillip might have assumed she was younger, and that the answer had been made more recently. In a tiny voice, Heidi guessed "...Knore?"

Arasinya looked at him. "These aren't wounds a centaur would make. These wounds are unlike any I've seen before." She bit her lip. "Grandfather would know what they are. Is he here?"

Judith took in a staggering breath and nodded. "I'm tr-ying." The wound was still bad, and it was amazing that Judith wasn't gone yet.

Once at the Camp, Dustin rushed Judith to the medics. "She's injured. Sword wound to the stomach." He told the man urgently.

"Ahh. I see. Set her down here boy. Go get me some water from the well outside there." The man looked at her stomach and put his hand on his unshaved chin. "This wound is very serious. I'm shocked she's still breathing. This one's a trooper. May, come over here! I need you for this one." He called to his wife.

Knore mouthed something but it wasn't easy to make out. He refrained from crying again, something he usually didn't have to deal with. All these new feelings were overwhelming. The sense of temperature, the pull of gravity, the light stomach that needed to be filled. He didn't know how to handle it. He thought he knew enough about humans. It scared him though, and brought him no joy.

Kodai nodded. "He's teaching the young welps how to hunt, fish, and bless food."

Jasper leaned forward as he saw Knore's mouth move. "What did you say?" He asked, having not heard.

"I have to go find him. He'll know what happened." Arasinya turned to her horse. "Setho..." She whispered in her horses ear. He nodded his head and she got on. "Where is he?"
